About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled Retail Buyer to join our team at 2287645 Alberta Ltd. as a key member of our retail operations.

Key Responsibilities
  • Market Research and Analysis

Conduct thorough market research and analysis to identify trends, opportunities, and challenges in the retail industry.

Product Sourcing and Procurement

Source and procure high-quality products from suppliers, ensuring timely delivery and competitive pricing.

Inventory Management

Manage inventory levels, monitor stock movements, and maintain accurate records to optimize stock levels and minimize waste.

Supplier Relationship Management

Develop and maintain strong relationships with suppliers, negotiating prices, credit terms, and other agreements to ensure mutually beneficial partnerships.

Merchandise Planning and Execution

Collaborate with cross-functional teams to plan and execute merchandise strategies, including product selection, pricing, and promotion.

Reporting and Analysis

Provide regular reports and analysis on sales performance, market trends, and other key metrics to inform business decisions.

Requirements
  • Education

Secondary (high) school graduation certificate.

Experience

7 months to less than 1 year of experience in a related field.

Skills

Excellent analytical, communication, and interpersonal skills.

Computer Skills

Proficiency in spreadsheet software, internet, and other relevant tools.

Work Environment

This is a fast-paced environment with tight deadlines, requiring strong attention to detail and ability to work under pressure.
