About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled E-commerce Content Specialist to join our team at Electro Federation Canada. As a key member of our content creation team, you will be responsible for developing and implementing content strategies that drive sales and engagement across our e-commerce platforms.

Key Responsibilities
  1. Content Creation: Develop and optimize product listings, including writing compelling product descriptions and ensuring accurate product information.
  2. Content Management: Execute daily tasks related to product info and promotion data maintenance and information loading.
  3. Collaboration: Collaborate with various departments to ensure issue resolutions related to each e-tailer.
  4. Graphic Content: Support the creation of graphic content and marketing collateral to support all sales segments (ex. Social media post creation, product and scene image creation, etc.).
  5. Performance Tracking: Assist in tracking success of programs and promotions.
  6. Industry Research: Stay informed about e-commerce industry trends, digital marketing techniques, and best practices.
Requirements
  1. Experience: Proven experience in e-commerce content creation and management.
  2. Education: Bachelor's degree in Marketing, Communications, Business, or a related field (or equivalent practical experience).
  3. Communication Skills: Excellent written and verbal communication skills with a keen eye for detail and grammar.
  4. E-commerce Platforms: Proficiency in e-commerce platforms (Wayfair, Home Depot, etc).
  5. SEO and AI: Experience with SEO + Generative AI for targeted content generation.
  6. Multitasking: Ability to multitask and prioritize in a fast-paced environment while maintaining a high level of accuracy.
  7. Excel Skills: Strong ability to excel at detailed tasks with a proficiency in Excel.
  8. Analytical Skills: Analytical mindset with the ability to interpret data and generate actionable insights.
  9. Creative Thinking: Creative thinker and worker with a passion for creating engaging content that drives sales.
  10. Language Skills: Fluent in written French and English is a benefit.
