We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Lead Line Cook to join our culinary team at the Sun Peaks Grand Hotel & Conference Centre. As a key member of our kitchen operations, you will be responsible for ensuring the highest standards of food quality, safety, and presentation.
Key Responsibilities- Operate a designated station in an assigned kitchen, maintaining a clean and organized workspace.
- Ensure safe food handling, preparation, and presentation, adhering to established guidelines and protocols.
- Oversee the correct preparation of special dietary requests, providing exceptional service to our guests.
- Collaborate with the culinary team to achieve seamless kitchen operations, fostering a positive and creative work environment.
- Communicate effectively with colleagues and management to ensure efficient service delivery.
- 1 year of culinary experience, preferably in a hotel or resort environment.
- Production and banquet experience is preferred.
- Working towards a career in culinary or a Red Seal Certification.
- Holds a current Food Safe Level 1 Certification.
- Thorough understanding of kitchen operations and ability to work in a fast-paced environment.
- Self-disciplined with a sincere desire to provide an elevated guest experience.
