About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled Transportation Logistics Supervisor to join our team at CDS-Baggage Storage. As a key member of our operations team, you will be responsible for ensuring the smooth operation of our logistics operations.

Key Responsibilities
  • Logistics Operations: Oversee the daily operations of our logistics team, ensuring that all tasks are completed efficiently and effectively.
  • Equipment Maintenance: Ensure that all computer equipment and machinery are in good working order, and that any issues are promptly addressed.
  • Team Management: Supervise a team of 5-10 people, including shippers and receivers, transportation route and crew schedulers.
  • Performance Reviews: Conduct regular performance reviews to ensure that team members are meeting their goals and objectives.
  • Supply Chain Management: Requisition or order materials, equipment, and supplies as needed to support our logistics operations.
  • Operational Planning: Plan, organize, and oversee the operational logistics of the organization, ensuring that all tasks are completed on time and within budget.
Requirements
  • Education: College/CEGEP degree in a relevant field.
  • Experience: 2 years to less than 3 years of experience in a logistics or operations role.
  • Language: English language proficiency.
