We are seeking a highly skilled Adult Psychiatrist to join our multidisciplinary team at Peace Arch Hospital. As a key member of our team, you will be responsible for delivering high-quality care to patients with acquired brain injuries and older adult patients served by the Fraser Health Mental Health team.
Key Responsibilities- Deliver assessment, outpatient treatment, consultation, and education to patients, families, and healthcare providers.
- Collaborate with psychiatrists at the mental health center and engage in outreach to patients' residences.
- Provide consultation to Assisted Living and Long-Term Care facilities in collaboration with patients' attending physicians.
- Participate in the ECT roster and on-call duties.
- Current College of Physicians and Surgeons of British Columbia (CPSBC) License: Provisional
- Canadian Medical Protective Association (CMPA): Mandatory
- Fellow of the Royal College of Physicians of Canada (FRCPC): Eligible
