Job Summary

We are seeking a highly skilled Adult Psychiatrist to join our multidisciplinary team at Peace Arch Hospital. As a key member of our team, you will be responsible for delivering high-quality care to patients with acquired brain injuries and older adult patients served by the Fraser Health Mental Health team.

Key Responsibilities
  • Deliver assessment, outpatient treatment, consultation, and education to patients, families, and healthcare providers.
  • Collaborate with psychiatrists at the mental health center and engage in outreach to patients' residences.
  • Provide consultation to Assisted Living and Long-Term Care facilities in collaboration with patients' attending physicians.
  • Participate in the ECT roster and on-call duties.
Requirements
  • Current College of Physicians and Surgeons of British Columbia (CPSBC) License: Provisional
  • Canadian Medical Protective Association (CMPA): Mandatory
  • Fellow of the Royal College of Physicians of Canada (FRCPC): Eligible
