About the Role

We are seeking a highly motivated and experienced Business Development Manager to join our team at ComForCare Home Health Care - Kitchener/Waterloo. As a key member of our sales and marketing team, you will be responsible for driving revenue growth and expanding our presence in the Kitchener and Waterloo markets.

Key Responsibilities
  • Sales and Marketing: Develop and execute strategic sales and marketing plans to achieve revenue objectives, including researching and pursuing new referral sources, building and maintaining relationships with healthcare professionals, and presenting ComForCare's services to referral providers.
  • Business Development: Identify and acquire new businesses to increase overall market share, targeting hospitals, physicians, home health agencies, assisted living facilities, independent living communities, senior centers, hospice, long-term care facilities, and retirement homes.
  • Relationship Building: Establish and maintain strong relationships with referral providers, healthcare professionals, and other stakeholders to drive business growth and expand ComForCare's presence in the market.
  • Marketing Operations: Manage marketing operations, including creating promotional materials and campaigns, and collaborating with the ComForCare Corporate marketing team to develop educational programs and materials.
  • Office Operations: Assist with office operations as needed, including scheduling, billing, and payroll.
Requirements
  • Experience: Minimum of 3 years of experience in business development or relationship management, preferably in the home care or healthcare industry.
  • Education: Minimum of High school diploma / GED or Canadian Adult Education Credential (CAEC); College Diploma is a bonus.
  • Skills: Strong organizational and time management abilities, ability to work independently and as part of a team, knowledge of the senior care market and healthcare system in Kitchener/Waterloo, and excellent verbal, written, communication, and interpersonal skills.
  • Other: Must have a valid driver's license and reliable personal vehicle, as the role requires frequent travel within the city (no overnight travel). Job requires 75% of travel within Waterloo Region.
