We are seeking a dedicated Counsellor to provide specialized counselling support to students, including survivors of sexual assault, as well as other counselling services. The successful candidate will be involved in education outreach and program development to enhance student mental wellbeing.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Provide individual and group counselling with a focus on survivors of sexual assault
  • Collaborate with campus stakeholders to develop programs on sexual violence awareness and prevention
  • Liaise with external community partners to support effective campus programming and services
  • Administer personality and career assessments
  • Conduct program evaluation and research projects related to student mental health and wellbeing
  • Provide clinical supervision and training for graduate students and staff

Qualifications:

  • Respect for diverse perspectives and commitment to equity and inclusion
  • Master's degree in Counselling Psychology or related field
  • Certification as a Registered Clinical Counsellor
  • Minimum 5 years of experience in Clinical Counselling
  • Experience in program development and serving diverse student populations
  • Knowledge of student development theory and best practices in mental health support
