Job Title: SEO Marketing Specialist

CB Canada is seeking a highly skilled SEO Marketing Specialist to join our team. As a key member of our marketing team, you will be responsible for executing SEO strategies and projects to acquire customers while achieving ROI goals within the Canadian market.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Develop and execute SEO strategies to drive organic traffic and improve search engine rankings
  • Collaborate with internal and external stakeholders to ensure alignment and successful execution of strategic initiatives
  • Conduct UX-driven and intent-specific keyword research to inform content marketing and technical SEO efforts
  • Perform independent audits and assessments to identify areas for improvement in content marketing, technical SEO, and digital PR
  • Recommend optimizations of website content and make data-driven recommendations for net new opportunities
  • Review and recommend fixes for technical SEO issues
  • Write SEO-related copy, such as titles and descriptions, and data-driven content
  • Manage day-to-day short-term SEO tasks and long-term projects
Requirements:
  • 1-2 years of direct experience with all aspects of SEO, with proven success in mid-market or enterprise websites
  • Strong UX mentality and ability to strategize and execute with a user-centric approach
  • Adept at working in a highly collaborative, lean, agile environment
  • Ability to organize, prioritize, and manage multiple projects simultaneously
  • Working knowledge of HTML and CMS systems such as WordPress
Preferred Skills:
  • Experience with reporting tools such as Google Search Console, Google Analytics, and Adobe Analytics
  • Experience with keyword analysis tools such as SemRush and Ahrefs
  • Fluency in French is a strong asset
