As a part of The Coulson Group of companies, we are a growing organization with a rich history spanning 63 years. Our company's expansion and growing footprint have created opportunities for us to add to our team and hire a Quality Assurance Auditor.
Job Responsibilities- Conducting Internal Audits: Perform internal audits in accordance with the requirements of our Quality Management System, ensuring compliance with internal policies, customer, and regulatory requirements.
- Maintaining the Quality Management System: Ensure the Quality Management System is up-to-date, effective, and aligned with industry standards.
- Identifying Opportunities for Improvement: Continuously identify areas for improvement and implement corrective actions to enhance our processes and systems.
- Reporting Audit Findings: Present audit findings to management, highlighting areas of non-compliance and recommending corrective actions.
- Facilitating Preventative and Corrective Actions: Collaborate with teams to implement preventative and corrective actions, ensuring timely implementation and effective resolution of issues.
- Enforcing Company Policies and Procedures: Ensure adherence to company policies and procedures, promoting a culture of compliance and quality.
- Participating in External Audits: Participate in external audits, as required, to ensure our Quality Management System meets industry standards.
- Training and Development: Assist in the assignment of training to personnel and contractors, ensuring they have the necessary skills and knowledge to perform their roles effectively.
- Controlled Goods Program: Assist with the company's Controlled Goods Program, ensuring compliance with regulatory requirements.
- Quality Management Systems Knowledge: Possess in-depth knowledge of Quality Management Systems, including AS9100 and ISO 9001.
- Experience in Maintaining a Quality Management System: Have a minimum of 3 years' experience in maintaining a Quality Management System, with a proven track record of ensuring compliance and identifying areas for improvement.
- Internal Audit Experience: Possess a high level of proficiency in performing internal audits, with a strong understanding of audit methodologies and techniques.
- Microsoft Office Suite Proficiency: Be highly proficient in all Microsoft Office Suite programs, with the ability to create reports, presentations, and other documents as required.
- Aircraft/Helicopter Knowledge: Have a general knowledge of aircraft/helicopters, with an understanding of their operation and maintenance.
- Parts Manufacturing and Production Knowledge: Possess knowledge of parts manufacturing and production, with an understanding of the processes and systems involved.
- Auditor Training: Have completed auditor training, with a strong understanding of audit principles and practices.
- ISO 9001/AS9100 Certification: Possess ISO 9001/AS9100 certification, with a strong understanding of the standards and requirements.
- Eligibility to Work in Canada: Be eligible to work in Canada, with a valid work permit or Canadian citizenship.
