Calgary, Alberta, Canada Helcim Inc. Full time

Please note the internal title for this role is Affiliate Coordinator

As a Partnership Success Coordinator, you will be instrumental in enhancing our collaboration channels to boost lead generation and merchant acquisition. Your primary duties will involve nurturing and expanding Helcim's partnership networks through consistent interactions with partners, onboarding new program participants, and activating partnerships. You will cultivate and sustain robust relationships with our partners to pinpoint and implement mutually advantageous opportunities. Utilizing data, you will optimize current partnerships, assist in the onboarding of new partners, and ensure precise reporting both internally and to external stakeholders.

This position offers a fantastic opportunity to join a dynamic, expanding fintech startup and assume significant responsibilities from the outset. At Helcim, particularly in this role, your contributions will have a direct and meaningful impact every single day.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Develop and enhance opportunities through our partnership channels (affiliates, integration partners, relationship partners including banks/credit unions and associations).
  • Establish genuine relationships with partners and affiliates to foster mutually beneficial opportunities.
  • Evaluate program applications and onboard new partners.
  • Collaborate with marketing, sales, and the Helcim Executive Team to identify growth opportunities to expand and enhance our existing partnerships.
  • Engage in reporting activities pertinent to partnership channels both internally and to our partners.
  • Manage the partner relationship during the transition from Partnership Sales.
  • Continuously refine and implement detailed partner account plans (regular partnership meetings, activation strategies, risk identification and mitigation, reporting).
  • Propel the partnership team and the company forward with an entrepreneurial mindset, taking full ownership and accountability for nurturing, expanding, and maximizing the relationship's potential through innovative strategies.
  • Occasional travel may be required.
Who You Are:
  • A natural relationship builder with high emotional intelligence, eager to meet diverse individuals to understand their business, objectives, and challenges.
  • Possess a Sales or Hyper Growth mindset.
  • A friendly, charismatic, and trustworthy relationship developer, confident and enthusiastic about connecting with others and sharing insights.
  • Equally comfortable working independently and collaborating within a team.
  • A motivated individual who thrives in the fast-paced, unstructured environment of a scale-up, hungry for growth, impact, and results.
  • Exhibit a positive and resilient attitude, able to persevere through challenges. When faced with a "no," you view it as a learning opportunity rather than a setback.
Your Qualifications:
  • Direct experience in account management, Client Success, affiliate marketing, partnerships, or sales teams.
  • Exceptional communication skills with the ability to convey complex information and concepts clearly.
  • Familiarity with Google Suite and CRM platforms (Hubspot is a plus).
  • Ability to analyze and utilize data to assess existing partnerships and identify risks and growth opportunities.
  • Experience in a startup or scale-up environment.
  • Strong project management and organizational skills.
