Your Opportunity:

We are seeking a skilled and experienced Registered Nurse to join our team in the Surgical Suite. As a member of our multi-disciplinary team, you will provide focused care to patients undergoing various surgical procedures, including urology, general surgery, thoracic, plastic/oral maxillofacial surgery, neurosurgery, and orthopedics.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Assess, plan, implement, and evaluate patient care during the perioperative experience
  • Provide leadership in clinical practice through management of patient care and equipment
  • Anticipate patient needs and ensure equipment and supplies are available for required cases
  • Act as a resource for staff skill development and support

Requirements:

  • Completion of an accredited nursing education program
  • Active or eligible for registration and practice permit with the College of Registered Nurses of Alberta (CRNA)
  • Current Basic Cardiac Life Support - Health Care Provider (BCLS-HCP)
  • Peri-operative Certificate from an approved school of nursing (preferred)
