Job Title: VP, Client Management

Munich Reinsurance Company of Canada is seeking a highly skilled and experienced VP, Client Management to join our team. As a key member of our client management team, you will be responsible for generating new business opportunities, maintaining strong relationships with clients, and driving business growth.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Develop and maintain in-depth understanding of client strategies and business potential.
  • Identify and act on current and future demand trends in traditional and bespoke reinsurance.
  • Develop client-specific hypotheses based on quantitative analysis and define sales strategies for our range of products and services.
  • Collaborate with client management to identify non-traditional opportunities and maintain a sales pipeline.
  • Negotiate with clients and brokers to facilitate deal prospection, preparation, and closing.
Requirements:
  • Strong leadership and achievement skills.
  • Minimum of ten years re-/insurance experience, preferably with an Actuarial background.
  • Pro-active contributor with ability to drive new ideas and impulses to meet client demand.
  • High emotional intelligence to foster client and team relationships.
  • Ability to negotiate best outcomes for long-term and sustained profitability.
