Job Summary:

We are seeking an experienced Accounts Receivable Administrator to join our team at CB Canada. As a key member of our finance department, you will be responsible for processing payments, assembling monthly closings and annual reports, and responding to information requests from stakeholders.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Process payments and assemble segments of monthly closings and annual reports in compliance with GAAP
  • Reply to information requests from stakeholders, including shippers, customers, and the sales/marketing department
  • Carry out general accounting tasks in accordance with standard procedures
  • Enter and balance financial data in a number of ledgers while reconciling bank accounts
  • Maintain, relate, and promote the mission, values and culture of the organization
  • Contact clients to settle payment issues and establish payment plans as required
  • Ensure accuracy of documents and codes

Requirements:

  • Detailed and able to work independently
  • 1+ years of relevant experience in accounts receivable
  • AA or BS/BA degree in Accounting or related field
  • Established analytical skills in basic accounts receivable and accounting policy
  • Current and relevant ERP system experience
