The Manufacturing Engineer will play a crucial role in enhancing product manufacturing by facilitating the adoption of design and process modifications aimed at improving quality, minimizing costs, and boosting performance.

Required Qualifications:
  1. Degree or Diploma in Mechanical or Industrial Engineering
  2. Proficient in CAD software
  3. Strong skills in documentation and presentations
  4. Experience in continuous improvement practices such as Lean Manufacturing, including methodologies like 5S, Kaizen, Kanban, Setup Reduction, or Six Sigma
  5. 3 to 5 years of experience in a manufacturing environment
  6. Ability to manage multiple tasks and collaborate effectively within a team
  7. Exceptional analytical and problem-solving abilities
  8. Fluent in English with excellent written and verbal communication skills
  9. Preferred: Experience in product design
  10. Preferred: Background in window and door manufacturing
Key Responsibilities:
  1. Develop and implement enhancements to product designs
  2. Ensure proper documentation and audits for structural and thermal evaluations
  3. Engage in Lean initiatives to streamline processes
  4. Introduce innovative manufacturing and assembly techniques to the production line
  5. Evaluate current production methods and establish efficient setups
  6. Initiate and execute cost-saving strategies
  7. Oversee specifications, procurement, and installation of new equipment
  8. Collaborate with suppliers and clients to address and resolve issues
  9. Design and create fixtures, jigs, and tools for manufacturing purposes
  10. Identify and resolve manufacturing and design challenges
  11. Conduct time studies to optimize processes
  12. Assess Special Product Requests for production and purchasing requirements
