Job Summary

Pipestrong Plumbing and Heating Ltd. is seeking a skilled and experienced Plumber Journeyman/Woman to join our team. As a key member of our plumbing crew, you will be responsible for installing, maintaining, and repairing plumbing systems in various commercial and residential settings.

Key Responsibilities
  • Installation and Maintenance
    • Read and interpret blueprints, drawings, and specifications to determine the layout of plumbing systems, water supply networks, and waste and drainage systems.
    • Locate and mark positions for pipe connections, passage holes, and fixtures in walls and floors.
    • Cut openings in walls and floors to accommodate pipes and pipe fittings.
    • Join pipes using couplings, clamps, screws, bolts, cement, or soldering, brazing, and welding equipment.
  • Apprenticeship and Training
    • Provide guidance and instruction to apprentices.
    • Ensure apprentices meet the required standards and complete their training.
  • Work Environment and Safety
    • Work in various locations, including commercial and residential settings.
    • Handle heavy loads and work in physically demanding environments.
    • Wear steel-toed safety boots and follow safety protocols.
  • Personal Qualities and Certifications
    • Hold a valid driver's license.
    • Have a level four apprenticeship training certification.
    • Be a team player and possess excellent communication skills.
