Job Title: Plumber Journeyman/Woman

We are seeking a skilled Plumber Journeyman/Woman to join our team at Pipestrong Plumbing and Heating Ltd.

Job Summary:

The successful candidate will be responsible for installing, maintaining, and repairing plumbing and heating systems in various locations. This is a physically demanding role that requires a high level of technical skill and attention to detail.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Read and interpret blueprints, drawings, and specifications to determine the layout of plumbing systems, water supply networks, and waste and drainage systems.
  • Instruct apprentices and provide guidance on plumbing and heating systems.
  • Locate and mark positions for pipe connections, passage holes, and fixtures in walls and floors.
  • Cut openings in walls and floors to accommodate pipes and pipe fittings.
  • Join pipes using couplings, clamps, screws, bolts, cement, soldering, brazing, and welding equipment.
  • Schedule personnel, tools, and equipment for plumbing and heating projects.
  • Test pipes for leaks using air and water pressure gauges.
  • Determine piping system requirements and pipe sizing.
  • Measure, cut, thread, and bend pipes to the required shape and size.
Requirements:
  • Valid driver's license.
  • Level four apprenticeship training.
  • Steel-toed safety boots.
  • Team player with excellent communication skills.
