Sunfarm Produce and Groceries is seeking a skilled Bookkeeping Specialist to join our team. As a key member of our accounting department, you will be responsible for maintaining accurate and up-to-date financial records, preparing cheques for payroll, and reconciling accounts. Your attention to detail and organizational skills will ensure the smooth operation of our financial systems. In this role, you will also be responsible for calculating fixed assets and depreciation, maintaining general ledgers and financial statements, and preparing tax returns. **Key Responsibilities:**

* Maintain accurate and up-to-date financial records
* Prepare cheques for payroll
* Reconcile accounts
* Calculate fixed assets and depreciation
* Maintain general ledgers and financial statements
* Prepare tax returns

**Requirements:**

* 2 years of experience in bookkeeping
* Strong knowledge of accounting principles and practices
* Excellent organizational and communication skills
* Ability to work accurately and efficiently in a fast-paced environment
