About the Role

We are seeking a seasoned regulatory compliance professional to join our team as a Compliance Manager. In this role, you will be responsible for managing and developing direct reports, designing and implementing control systems, and providing regulatory advice for new lines of business. You will also be responsible for monitoring and managing testing activities, responding to regulatory incidents, and partnering with internal stakeholders to ensure compliance with regulatory requirements.

Key Responsibilities

  • Manage and develop direct reports through ongoing performance development
  • Design and implement control systems to ensure compliance with regulatory requirements
  • Provide regulatory advice for new lines of business
  • Monitor and manage testing activities to ensure compliance with regulatory requirements
  • Respond to regulatory incidents and manage investigations to resolution
  • Partner with internal stakeholders to ensure compliance with regulatory requirements

Requirements

  • 5+ years of experience in advisory compliance in financial services
  • At least 2 years of experience working with Canadian regulators
  • Post-secondary education in a relevant field
  • Extensive policy writing experience
  • Knowledge of risk management frameworks
  • Strong quantitative skills and analytic ability
  • Proficient in using technology and productivity tools

What We Offer

We offer a competitive annual salary, plus a discretionary profit share opportunity. Salary for this position will vary between $100,000 and $130,000 per year, depending on the knowledge, skills, abilities, and experience of the chosen candidate.
