Executive Director, Transportation Operations

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Executive Director, Transportation Operations to join our team at ROAD LINK XPRESS. As a key member of our leadership team, you will be responsible for overseeing the strategic direction and day-to-day operations of our transportation division.
Key Responsibilities- Resource Allocation: Allocate material, human, and financial resources to implement organizational policies and programs, ensuring optimal utilization of resources to achieve business objectives.
- Department Establishment: Authorize and organize the establishment of major departments and associated senior staff positions, ensuring alignment with business strategy and goals.
- Regional Coordination: Co-ordinate the work of regions, divisions, or departments, fostering collaboration and ensuring effective communication across teams.
- Financial and Administrative Controls: Establish financial and administrative controls, formulate and approve promotional campaigns, and approve overall human resources planning, ensuring compliance with company policies and regulatory requirements.
- Organizational Objectives: Establish objectives for the organization and formulate or approve policies and programs, ensuring alignment with business strategy and goals.
- Representation: Represent the organization, or delegate representatives to act on behalf of the organization, in negotiations or other official functions, ensuring effective communication and representation of company interests.
- Leadership Development: Select middle managers, directors, or other executive staff, delegate the necessary authority to them, and create optimum working conditions, ensuring the development of a high-performing leadership team.
- Computer and Technology Knowledge: Proficiency in MS Access, MS Excel, MS Office, MS Outlook, and MS Word, with the ability to leverage technology to drive business outcomes.
- Work Conditions and Physical Capabilities: Ability to work in a fast-paced environment, under pressure, with tight deadlines, and with a large workload, requiring attention to detail and strong organizational skills.
- Personal Suitability: Excellent oral and written communication skills, interpersonal awareness, and team player skills, with the ability to work collaboratively with diverse stakeholders.
