The Patient Food Services department is dedicated to the preparation and delivery of meals and nutritional support to patients at our facility. Our mission is to provide outstanding food services that prioritize variety, flavor, nutrition, safety, and presentation to fulfill patient expectations.

In addition to serving inpatients, our services extend to various locations and community organizations, including catering and frozen meal services.

Our team comprises certified Food Handlers, Diet Clerks, and Supervisors, all committed to ensuring high-quality food services for patients and their families.

The role of Special Aide encompasses the assembly, distribution, collection, and sanitation of patient trays, meals, and snacks, adhering to strict sanitation protocols and Health & Safety regulations.

Applicants should possess a High School Diploma, a Food Safety Training Certificate, and preferably a Food Service Worker / Dietary Aide Certificate, along with relevant experience in a similar environment.

Essential qualifications for this role include sound judgment, enthusiasm for food service, knowledge of food safety practices, strong organizational skills, problem-solving capabilities, and effective communication within a team.

Candidates must meet the minimum educational criteria and show a commitment to job performance and attendance standards.

Flexibility to work weekdays, weekends, and various shifts according to the operational requirements of a 24/7 healthcare environment is essential.
