Job Summary

Casino Ajax is seeking a Food and Beverage Server to provide exceptional customer service in a fast-paced environment.

Key Responsibilities
  • Provide food and beverage service with a positive attitude and excellent communication skills.
  • Process cash and credit card transactions accurately and efficiently.
  • Ensure accurate cash handling and balancing of sales and/or cash float at the end of the shift.
  • Take food and beverage orders from guests and provide recommendations on menu specials.
  • Deliver food and beverage items to guests in a prompt manner.
  • Welcome and greet guests, answering general inquiries about food, beverages, and other restaurants on the premise.
  • Clean tables, clear dishes, and maintain a clean service area.
  • Assist other co-workers as needed and perform preventive maintenance and cleaning of food and beverage equipment.
Requirements
  • Minimum one (1) year relevant experience in a high-volume environment.
  • High School Diploma or equivalent working experience.
  • Valid Smart Serve Certificate required.
  • Previous cash handling experience required, P.O.S system experience an asset.
  • Previous restaurant experience in a casino environment is an asset.
  • Excellent interpersonal, teamwork, customer service, and communication skills.
  • Ability to multi-task and work under pressure in a fast-paced environment.
