Key Responsibilities- Manage customer relationships and develop strategic plans to drive sales growth
- Sell Quadra's industrial chemicals products to potential customers through routine customer visits, joint calls, and industry events
- Develop and utilize internal and external resources to showcase Quadra's reputation for service excellence
- Closing new business opportunities by coordinating requirements, developing proposals, and conducting negotiations that align with contractual requirements
- Meet or exceed annual sales and margin objectives
- Play a crucial role in assisting customers with troubleshooting and identifying optimization opportunities to enhance their experience and maximize their benefits during the development, follow-up, and closing of sales opportunities
- Effectively manage deadlines and handle any emergencies that may arise outside of business hours, ensuring swift resolution and minimal disruption to operations
- Closing new business deals by coordinating requirements, developing and negotiating contracts, and integrating contract requirements
- Building and maintaining customer relationships with key decision makers/influencers to obtain repeat and new sales
- Prospecting potential customers and current customers for new business
- Regular reporting and scheduling utilizing Quadra's digital tools
- Participating in the yearly forecasting exercise
- Delivering presentations, qualifying concerns, and closing
- Undergraduate degree or diploma preferably in chemistry, science, or business
- Minimum 5 years' experience in a sales role selling in the industrial chemicals market, with a focus on major chemical production, environmental, water treatment, construction, and/or agriculture
- Expertise in driving new sales, prospecting, qualifying customer needs and expectations
- Demonstrated ability to develop and maintain business relationships with prospective customers to generate new business
- Proven ability in achieving sales targets and KPIs
- Possess a high degree of organization, planning, and multi-tasking skills
- Be comfortable and at ease working in a complex and rapidly changing environment
- Excellent interpersonal, communication, and presentation skills
- Ability to travel (about 40% of working time) with overnight travels
- Proven computer skills and ability to learn and use digital tools. Experience with a CRM like Salesforce would be considered a strong asset
- Valid driver's license and passport
