Customer Service Representative

Quadra Chemicals is seeking a highly skilled and customer-focused Customer Service Representative to join our team in Vaudreuil-Dorion, Quebec. As a key member of our customer service team, you will be responsible for delivering exceptional customer service by effectively communicating with clients, processing and managing orders, and ensuring timely follow-up.

Main Responsibilities:
  • Process and manage customer orders in the JD Edwards system, ensuring data integrity throughout the order lifecycle.
  • Verify and validate the details on purchase orders, ensuring compliance with company policies and customer agreements.
  • Address and resolve customer inquiries and requests in a timely manner.
  • Monitor and track order statuses, ensuring updates are communicated promptly and accurately to customers.
  • Coordinate with the logistics, operations, and procurement teams to ensure alignment between customer expectations and operations capabilities.
  • Collaborate with sales teams to address and resolve customer issues, ensuring seamless communication between departments.
  • Provide product recommendations and insights to customers to enhance their purchasing decisions.
  • Leverage Salesforce to track, analyze, and manage customer interactions and activities, ensuring data is up-to-date.
  • Manage account maintenance activities, ensuring records are accurate and aligned with customer needs.
  • Review and interpret weekly and monthly reports to identify trends and areas for improvement.
Qualifications:
  • Completed DEC in administration, business, or a related field is a valuable asset.
  • Exceptional verbal and written communication skills in French and English.
  • Comfortable and confident in communicating with customers via phone and email.
  • Demonstrates a strong work ethic and a drive for success, with essential qualities of compassion, integrity, and honesty.
  • Minimum of 3 years of relevant experience as a Customer Service Representative within distribution, logistics, or manufacturing industries.
  • Ability to work both independently and collaboratively in a team environment.
  • Thrives in a fast-paced environment, able to make quick decisions and work under pressure.
  • Possesses excellent interpersonal, communication, and analytical skills.
  • Proven strong organizational and problem-solving abilities.
  • Must have strong computer skills, including advanced Microsoft Office suite abilities. Knowledge of Salesforce and JD Edwards is considered a strong asset for this role.
