Key Responsibilities:

  • Review project documentation and generate accurate cost estimates
  • Conduct take-offs for materials and labor expenses
  • Employ estimating software to create comprehensive proposals
  • Assess bids from subcontractors and suppliers
  • Prepare and present competitive bids
  • Identify potential risks in cost estimates and suggest mitigation strategies
  • Engage in negotiations with clients

Essential Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's degree in Construction Management or a related discipline
  • At least 10 years of experience in construction cost estimation
  • Proficient in IT, with strong analytical and numerical skills
  • Meticulous attention to detail and excellent problem-solving abilities
  • Familiarity with construction techniques, materials, and contractual agreements
