Support customer training and education programs related to Medtronic products and technology. Collaborate with the implementation of policies and procedures, and participate in clinical and operational decision-making. Train and educate investigators/customers on the proper use of Medtronic products and technology.

A Day in the Life
  • Conduct on-site education and/or consulting.
  • Support field personnel in providing exceptional outcomes and service for Medtronic customers.
  • Partner with sales colleagues to develop and execute sales plans for one or more business units.
  • Participate in conventions, forums, and meetings to increase product awareness.
  • Work closely with Clinical Lead, Clinical Management, and Regional Sales team to provide customer case and sales support.
  • Identify and execute growth opportunities with Sales and Clinical Support Team.
  • Serve as a technical resource to support sales of specific medical products or solutions.
  • Report complaints and Adverse Drug Reactions (ADR).
  • Provide leadership and direction in training and education activities, including assessment, curriculum planning, communications, and device use skills development.
  • Develop and execute education and training programs to enhance user competencies.
  • Cultivate relationships with strategic business partners, including training centers and opinion leaders.
  • Provide new employee training on products, technology, and materials.
  • Assist in developing objectives and programs for marketing and selling Medtronic products.
  • Plan, direct, and coordinate educational workshops and other programs, events, and activities.
  • Work with other departments to establish priorities for company direction, new product development, and customer satisfaction.
  • Document clinical support and education.
  • Conduct Monthly Business Reviews with RSM & SPM.
Requirements
  • High School Diploma or GED.
  • Associate degree, or;
  • Bachelor's degree.
Experience
  • Minimum 4 years of work experience in the healthcare or engineering field, with a High School Diploma or GED, or;
  • Minimum 2 years of work experience in the healthcare or engineering field, with an Associate degree, or;
  • No minimum years of work experience with a bachelor's degree.
Nice to Have
  • Background in Nursing Education.
  • Minimum of 2 years of experience in healthcare-related Sales and/or Marketing experience.
  • Knowledge of the healthcare system (National, Provincial, and/or Regional level).
  • Medical device experience.

  • Ability to develop and present educational training programs and/or workshops.
  • Skill in organizing resources and establishing priorities.
  • Knowledge of adult education and communication principles and practices.
  • Outstanding interpersonal, verbal, and written communication skills and the ability to communicate and work effectively within a diverse community.

  • Strategic planning skills.
  • Strong communication skills.
  • Strong knowledge and understanding of nursing and/or medical principles, methods, and procedures.
  • Ability to develop, implement, and evaluate clinical education methodologies and assessment instruments.
  • Ability to organize, prioritize, and schedule work assignments.
  • Working knowledge of conflict resolution and mediation principles and techniques.
  • Valid driver's license with no restrictions.
  • Bilingualism.

This role is based in Montreal and may require some case coverage over the entire province of Quebec.
