Job Title: Process Improvement Lead

Join Mobis Parts Canada Corporation as a Process Improvement Lead and play a key role in driving operational excellence and efficiency across our organization.

About the Role

The Process Improvement Lead will be responsible for leading the coordination and implementation of methods to reduce costs, improve productivity, and increase customer satisfaction. This individual will conduct cycle time analysis and other system audits to identify areas for improvement and develop strategies to address them. The successful candidate will also work closely with various teams to improve the working environment and product throughput.

Key Responsibilities
  • Coordinate with company staff on continuous improvement initiatives
  • Analyze departmental workings to identify areas for improvement in quality standards and assurance
  • Audit current procedures to identify opportunities for improvement
  • Create metrics and analyze data to inform improvement strategies
  • Make recommendations on customer standards, quality assurance, and efficiency
  • Communicate with employees and management on process improvements and changes
  • Create and conduct formal training courses for employees on new processes and procedures
  • Present ideas and plans for process improvement, supported by data and metrics
  • Schedule meetings with supervisors and managers to gain support for new procedures
  • Engage employees in the change process and overcome resistance to new procedures
  • Liaise with the accounting department to develop cost-cutting strategies
  • Continuously advertise gains and achievements through employee meetings and written communications
  • Promote and facilitate workflow analysis and set standards for employees to achieve target goals
  • Perform quality assurance tests to ensure staff meet set expectations
Requirements
  • Minimum 5-10 years' experience in a Logistics, Warehousing, or Operations environment
  • Proficiency in MS Office, particularly Excel
  • Strong attention to detail and problem-solving skills
  • Team-oriented and customer service-focused
  • Proven ability to create and execute project plans that achieve identified targets
  • Ability to produce succinct reports and presentations to communicate project status
  • Strong leadership abilities, including leading effective meetings
  • Quality control background, including problem-solving and root cause analysis
  • Strong verbal and written communication skills, with diplomacy and professionalism
