We are seeking a highly skilled Procurement Specialist to join our team at Framatome. As a key member of our Installed Base Business Unit, you will play a critical role in ensuring the procurement of high-quality materials and services to support our nuclear energy operations.
Key Responsibilities- Review and analyze Request for Proposal (RFP) documents to ensure technical specifications are sufficiently detailed for quotation purposes.
- Verify compliance with RFP technical specifications and identify any exceptions.
- Identify and compile technical and quality purchase requirements for purchase orders.
- Perform Item Equivalency Evaluations for alternate replacement materials when specified materials are no longer available.
To be successful in this role, you will need:
- A Bachelor's degree in Mechanical or Electrical Engineering, or a related field.
- At least 6 years of experience in a procurement or engineering role, preferably in the nuclear industry.
- Strong knowledge of procurement engineering processes and procedures, including Nuclear Industry Codes and Standards.
- Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to work independently and as part of a team.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work effectively with cross-functional teams and stakeholders.
