Lead Civil Engineer

G Mining Services is a multidisciplinary company that provides professional services in the mining industry for underground and open pit mining projects in precious, base, or industrial metals.
We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Lead Civil, Structure and Architecture Engineer to join our team. As a key member of our engineering team, you will be responsible for leading a team of engineers and designers in the execution of civil engineering works for mining projects.
Key Responsibilities:
- Oversee the design, planning, and execution of civil engineering works for mining projects
- Lead and supervise a team of engineers and designers
- Collaborate with various teams, clients, and stakeholders to ensure project success
- Plan, organize, and manage engineering and construction projects
- Conduct technical and economic feasibility studies for projects
- Ensure that projects meet quality, safety, and regulatory standards
- Provide mentoring and technical support to team members
Requirements:
- Degree in civil engineering or related discipline
- Minimum of 15 years civil engineering experience; experience in the mining industry is a strong asset
- Experience in designing concrete and steel structures for heavy industry buildings
- Demonstrated experience in managing large and complex projects
- Project management skills, including planning, cost control, and resource management
- Experience in preparing and designing drawings of concrete and steel structures
- Proficient with design and project management software (Revit, AutoCAD, MS Project, etc.)
- Be able to communicate in French and/or English
