Job Summary

We are seeking a highly motivated and detail-oriented Food Counter Attendant to join our team at McDonald's Restaurants of Canada. As a key member of our food service team, you will be responsible for providing exceptional customer service, maintaining a clean and safe dining environment, and supporting our kitchen operations.

Key Responsibilities
  • Cleanliness and Sanitation: Clean and sanitize items such as dishwasher mats, carts, and waste disposal units, as well as clear and clean tables, trays, and chairs.
  • Food Preparation: Load buspans and trays, operate dishwashers to wash dishes, glassware, and flatware, and sanitize and wash dishes and other items by hand.
  • Customer Service: Serve customers at counters or buffet tables, take customers' orders, and replenish condiments and other supplies at tables and serving areas.
  • Inventory Management: Keep records of the quantities of food used and stock refrigerators and salad bars.
  • Support for Newcomers and Refugees: Participate in a government or community program or initiative that supports newcomers and/or refugees.
Requirements
  • Secondary (high) school graduation certificate
  • Experience an asset
Work Environment

This is a permanent position with 30 hours of work per week. The work language is English.
