Overview

The Asphalt Paving Screed Specialist plays a crucial role in the paving process, managing the screed located at the rear of the paving machine. This position is essential for ensuring the precise depth and width of asphalt is laid, directly impacting the quality of the finished roadway.

Key Responsibilities


• Responsible for accurately setting the depth and width of asphalt, which is vital for meeting project specifications.

• Manually fills in asphalt in areas that are inaccessible to the paving machine.

• Delivers exceptional internal customer service, consistently surpassing expectations.

• Adheres to all safety, compliance, and environmental protocols in accordance with company standards.

• Undertakes additional tasks as assigned.

• Maintains a high standard of work quality.

• Willingness to work overtime, night shifts, and in various weather conditions throughout the paving season.

Qualifications and Attributes


• At least one year of experience as a paving screed operator.

• Strong attention to detail.

• Commitment to high-quality workmanship.

• Flexibility to work overtime as needed.

• Ability to perform in all weather conditions.

• Capable of collaborating effectively within a team and communicating clearly with crew members.
