Meat Cutter

We are seeking a skilled Meat Cutter to join our team at Walker Lake Meat Shop. As a Meat Cutter, you will be responsible for cutting, trimming, and preparing standard cuts of meat for our customers.
Key Responsibilities:- Clean and prepare meats for processing or cutting
- Cut and trim meats to customer specifications
- Wrap and package prepared meats for sale
- Remove bones from meat and weigh meats for sale
- Cut poultry into parts and clean and prepare fish and shellfish
- Grind meats and slice cooked meats
- Prepare special orders and displays of meats, poultry, and fish products
- Shape, lace, and tie roasts, other meats, poultry, and seafood
- Manual cutting utensil experience
- Power grinder experience
- Slicing machine experience
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment
- Standing for extended periods
- Attention to detail
- Permanent employment
- 35 hours per week
- English language
