Job Summary

BMO is seeking a highly skilled and customer-focused Customer Service Representative to join our team. As a key member of our branch, you will be responsible for delivering exceptional service to our customers and prospects, identifying their needs, and providing advice and guidance on financial solutions that meet their individual needs.

Key Responsibilities
  • Deliver exceptional customer service and support to BMO customers and prospects
  • Identify customer needs and provide advice and guidance on financial solutions
  • Work collaboratively with branch colleagues and BMO partners to deliver a seamless customer experience
  • Support operational activities, including inventory management, escalated service requests, and filing
  • Manage and reconcile cash transactions between treasury and branch units
  • Execute routine tasks within service level agreements
  • Act as a key member of a collaborative and versatile branch team
  • Proactively identify opportunities to improve the customer experience
  • Stay up-to-date with the wider financial services marketplace and regulatory environment
Requirements
  • No prior experience necessary; post-secondary degree or certification in a related field is desirable
  • High-level knowledge of personal, commercial, and partner offers
  • Confident and experienced in the use of social media, tablets, smartphones, and online tools
  • Strong interpersonal skills, including the ability to build rapport and connections with customers
  • Basic knowledge of specialized sales and business banking solutions
  • Passionate commitment to helping customers
  • Resourceful self-starter with courage and confidence to approach customers
