Job Summary

We are seeking a skilled and compassionate Pharmacist to join our team at Lawtons. As a key member of our pharmacy team, you will play a vital role in achieving departmental excellence and providing exceptional patient care.

Key Responsibilities

  • Provide patient counselling and education on new therapies, tailoring to the needs and concerns of each patient.
  • Initiate care plans, follow up, and complete proper documentation.
  • Collect relevant patient, drug, and disease information.
  • Identify actual and potential drug-related problems through completion of medication reviews.
  • Monitor medication adherence.
  • Ensure prescription safety and prioritize technical functions to Pharmacy Registered Technicians and Assistants as required.
  • Thoroughly understand all relevant corporate pharmacy service offerings/programs and provide each customer/patient with the program that meets their healthcare needs.
  • Maintain current knowledge of pharmacy practice, regulatory requirements, and industry trends/developments; attend training as required.
  • Participate in professional programs and collaborate with colleagues to provide excellence in health & wellness services to all patients.
  • Adhere to all regulatory requirements, Company policies, processes, and procedures.

Requirements

  • Bachelor of Science in Pharmacy from a recognized institution.
  • Must be a Licensed Pharmacist, in good standing, in the province of responsibility.
  • Injection and First Aid Certification.
  • Kroll software experience is preferred.
