About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Food Service Supervisor to join our team at Zaika Tastes of India Ltd. As a Food Service Supervisor, you will be responsible for overseeing the daily operations of our food service team, ensuring that our high standards of quality and customer service are consistently met.

Key Responsibilities
  • Supervise and Coordinate Activities

Supervise and co-ordinate activities of staff who prepare and portion food, ensuring that all tasks are completed efficiently and effectively.

Train and Develop Staff

Train staff in job duties, sanitation and safety procedures, and provide ongoing support and guidance to ensure that they have the skills and knowledge needed to perform their roles.

Estimate and Manage Inventory

Estimate ingredient and supplies required for meal preparation, and maintain accurate records of stock, repairs, sales, and wastage.

Ensure Quality and Customer Satisfaction

Ensure that food and service meet quality control standards, and address customer complaints or concerns in a professional and timely manner.

Prepare Reports and Schedules

Prepare and submit reports, and establish work schedules to ensure that the team is working efficiently and effectively.

Requirements
  • Education and Experience

Secondary (high) school graduation certificate, and 1 year to less than 2 years of experience in a food service supervisory role.

Support for Youth and Indigenous People

Provides awareness training to employees to create a welcoming work environment for youth, and provides cultural competency training and/or awareness training to all employees to create a welcoming work environment for Indigenous workers.

Language and Work Schedule

Fluent in English, and able to work 32 to 40 hours per week.
