About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Culinary Professional to join our team at Broadway's New Marine Family Restaurant & Bar. As an Executive Chef, you will be responsible for leading our kitchen team and ensuring the highest quality of food is served to our customers.

Key Responsibilities
  • Menu Planning and Execution: Develop and implement menus that showcase our culinary expertise and meet the tastes of our diverse customer base.
  • Staff Management: Supervise and train a team of cooks, kitchen assistants, and other support staff to ensure seamless kitchen operations.
  • Inventory Management: Oversee the ordering and inventory of ingredients, supplies, and equipment to maintain optimal kitchen efficiency.
  • Quality Control: Conduct regular quality checks to ensure that all dishes meet our high standards of taste, presentation, and safety.
  • Cost Control: Manage kitchen expenses and optimize food costs to maintain profitability.
  • Health and Safety: Ensure compliance with all health and safety regulations and maintain a clean and safe working environment.
Requirements
  • Education and Experience: A degree in culinary arts or a related field, with a minimum of 1-2 years of experience in a senior kitchen role.
  • Language Skills: Fluency in English, with the ability to communicate effectively with staff and customers.
  • Physical Demands: Ability to stand for long periods, lift heavy objects, and work in a fast-paced environment.
