Role Overview

We are seeking an Environmental Field Specialist to join our team in Canada. This role will involve coordinating and executing environmental projects, including site assessments, risk assessments, and remediation projects.

Key Responsibilities

  • Coordinate and execute environmental projects, including site visits, inspections, and data collection.
  • Prepare and review environmental reports, including soil and groundwater sampling results.
  • Supervise contractors and subcontractors, ensuring compliance with regulatory frameworks.
  • Maintain knowledge of provincial and federal regulatory frameworks.
  • Interpret environmental data and compare results to applicable guidelines and standards.

Requirements

  • Technical Diploma or bachelor's degree in environmental science, engineering, earth sciences, or related field.
  • 2+ years of experience in soil, groundwater, or vapour sampling, and overseeing drilling activities and subcontractor management.
  • Strong understanding of field protocols, including soil, groundwater, and vapour sampling.
  • Excellent communication, interpersonal, and writing skills.
  • Strong skills in Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint).

Preferred Qualifications

  • CTech or CET or eligibility for P.Eng. or P.Geo.
