Logistics Coordinator

At Tomlinson Group of Companies, we are seeking a highly organized and detail-oriented individual to join our team as a Shipper/Receiver for our Night Shift. This role is responsible for ensuring the smooth receipt and dispatch of construction materials, tools, and equipment.
Key Responsibilities:- Process orders through our computerized shipping system, requiring strong computer skills.
- Sort and put away incoming goods, maintaining a high level of accuracy and efficiency.
- Conduct final reviews and checks on outgoing order shipments to ensure accuracy.
- Work in a fast-paced office/warehouse/yard space environment, with the ability to lift up to 50lbs.
- Assist with loading and unloading orders, as well as overall warehouse/yard storage and maintenance.
- Communicate clearly on the phone and process data entry requests.
- Perform general clean-up of the warehouse and work areas.
- 5-7 years of construction-related experience, with sewer and water experience preferred.
- Deep knowledge of construction materials is an asset.
- Warehousing experience is an asset.
- Attention to detail and ability to work effectively in a fast-paced team environment.
- Commitment to continuous improvement and ability to read and complete waybills clearly.
- Solid communication skills, both oral and written, and a positive and respectful attitude.
- Math aptitude and ability to work in a team environment.
- CSA-approved steel toe boots are required.
