About the Role

We are seeking a highly motivated and detail-oriented Physiotherapy Assistant to join our team at Rocky Mountain Physiotherapy and Wellness. As a key member of our rehabilitation team, you will play a vital role in supporting our physiotherapists and occupational therapists in providing high-quality patient care.

Key Responsibilities
  • Assist Physiotherapists and Occupational Therapists: Provide administrative support to our rehabilitation team, including preparing treatment plans, maintaining patient records, and coordinating with healthcare professionals.
  • Administer Evaluative Tests: Conduct standardized tests and assessments to evaluate patient progress and identify areas for improvement.
  • Equipment Maintenance: Ensure that all equipment is properly calibrated, cleaned, and maintained to ensure patient safety and comfort.
  • Supply Management: Order and manage supplies, including equipment, materials, and consumables, to ensure that our team has everything needed to provide excellent patient care.
  • Communication and Teamwork: Collaborate with our multidisciplinary team to ensure seamless communication and coordination of patient care.
Requirements
  • Education: College, CEGEP, or other non-university certificate or diploma from a program of 1 year to 2 years.
  • Experience: 7 months to less than 1 year of experience in a healthcare setting.
  • Skills: Strong communication and interpersonal skills, ability to work in a fast-paced environment, and proficiency in MS Excel, MS Outlook, and MS Word.
