Your Role:
As a Compensation and Benefits Specialist, you will play a crucial role in enhancing our benefits offerings. Your responsibilities will include:
- Developing and launching new benefits initiatives from the ground up.
- Overseeing the renewal process for existing benefit policies.
- Building and maintaining relationships with vendors and partners.
- Creating comprehensive materials to support Deel's benefits programs.
- Leading special projects within the benefits domain.
- Acting as a subject matter expert on benefits-related inquiries.
- Designing new processes to accommodate Deel's expanding operations.
- Assisting clients in identifying suitable benefits solutions.
- Resolving complex queries that require cross-department collaboration.
Qualifications:
- A minimum of 5 years of experience in benefits management, preferably within a brokerage or a large startup environment.
- Proven ability to foster strong partnerships and influence decision-making across diverse audiences.
- High degree of confidentiality, attention to detail, and ownership of responsibilities.
- Operational experience in managing benefits plans effectively.
- Exceptional written and verbal communication skills in English.
- Data-driven mindset with advanced proficiency in Excel.
Preferred Qualifications:
- A passion for the evolving landscape of work.
- Creative thinking and a willingness to explore innovative solutions.
- Familiarity with SQL.
- Experience in developing consumer or business-facing products with a focus on customer experience and growth.
