Inventory Management Specialist

Job Summary
We are seeking a highly organized and detail-oriented Inventory Management Specialist to join our team at the Government of Canada - Central. As an Inventory Management Specialist, you will be responsible for coordinating administrative services, collecting and recording administrative and service fees, and assisting in preparing annual budgets.
Key Responsibilities
- Coordinate and manage inventory levels to ensure efficient use of resources
- Collect and record administrative and service fees in a timely and accurate manner
- Assist in preparing annual budgets and financial reports
- Conduct research and analysis to inform inventory management decisions
- Plan, organize, direct, control, and evaluate daily operations to ensure smooth execution
- Direct and control corporate governance and regulatory compliance procedures
- Plan, administer, and control budgets for client projects, contracts, equipment, and supplies
- Prepare reports and briefs for management committees evaluating administrative services
- Organize and maintain inventory records and databases
- Supervise office and volunteer staff to ensure effective team performance
Requirements
- 5-10 years of experience in inventory management or a related field
- Proven track record of success in coordinating administrative services and managing inventory levels
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment with tight deadlines
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
- Proficiency in MS Office, including Excel, Word, and Access
- Experience with database management and accounting software
- Valid driver's license and willingness to travel
