Job Summary

We are seeking a highly organized and detail-oriented Inventory Management Specialist to join our team at the Government of Canada - Central. As an Inventory Management Specialist, you will be responsible for coordinating administrative services, collecting and recording administrative and service fees, and assisting in preparing annual budgets.

Key Responsibilities

  • Coordinate and manage inventory levels to ensure efficient use of resources
  • Collect and record administrative and service fees in a timely and accurate manner
  • Assist in preparing annual budgets and financial reports
  • Conduct research and analysis to inform inventory management decisions
  • Plan, organize, direct, control, and evaluate daily operations to ensure smooth execution
  • Direct and control corporate governance and regulatory compliance procedures
  • Plan, administer, and control budgets for client projects, contracts, equipment, and supplies
  • Prepare reports and briefs for management committees evaluating administrative services
  • Organize and maintain inventory records and databases
  • Supervise office and volunteer staff to ensure effective team performance

Requirements

  • 5-10 years of experience in inventory management or a related field
  • Proven track record of success in coordinating administrative services and managing inventory levels
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment with tight deadlines
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
  • Proficiency in MS Office, including Excel, Word, and Access
  • Experience with database management and accounting software
  • Valid driver's license and willingness to travel
