Your Role

In the position of Quality Assurance Supervisor, you will play a pivotal role in supporting and upholding the Quality Management System at the local level within designated business units, particularly in Distribution and/or Wholesaling sectors. You will assist the Quality Assurance Manager in overseeing various sites as assigned and contribute to National QA Business initiatives and the fulfillment of regulatory licensing requirements. Additionally, you will manage the RPIC/ARPIC QPIC/AQPIC for narcotics, controlled substances, and precursors.

Your Responsibilities
  • Implement and ensure compliance with cGMPs, corporate policies, client SOPs, and relevant regulations across all business and functional units (Distribution and/or Wholesaling).
  • Lead internal, external, supplier, and regulatory audits across the Canadian Healthcare Network, stepping in as the audit lead when the QA Manager is unavailable.
  • Recruit, develop, and assess the performance of QA Specialists at the site, ensuring high standards of work quality and productivity to maintain the site’s Quality Management System.
  • Maintain up-to-date and accurate training profiles for the Quality Assurance team, aligning with site requirements.
  • Provide mentorship and training to Quality Assurance team members as necessary.
  • Prepare comprehensive client reports and business review materials for Monthly & Quarterly meetings, presenting findings to clients as directed by management.
Your Skills and Experiences
  • A Bachelor’s degree in Sciences (e.g., Pharmacy, Chemistry, Biology, or a related field) is essential.
  • A minimum of 5 years of experience in a Medical Device/Pharmaceutical distribution environment is preferred.
  • At least 5 years of experience in a similar supervisory role is advantageous.
  • Extensive knowledge of Quality Management systems and standards (e.g., GMP, ISO 13485, 14001, 9001) is required.
  • Familiarity with SAP is considered beneficial.
  • In-depth understanding of GMPs, GDPs, licensing, and applicable Federal and Provincial regulations and guidelines.
  • Proficiency in French (both written and verbal) is a plus.
  • Strong leadership and managerial capabilities are preferred.
