Job Description

TV2 Consulting is seeking a highly skilled Senior Quality Assurance Engineer to join our team. As a key member of our quality assurance team, you will be responsible for overseeing the design, planning, development, and execution phases of the Software Testing Life Cycle (STLC).

Key Responsibilities:
  • Quality Assurance Strategy: Develop and manage the Quality Assurance (QA) strategy, incorporating both automation initiatives using Behavior-Driven Development (BDD) and manual testing techniques.
  • Test Planning and Execution: Plan, schedule, and coordinate test activities within the team, ensuring efficient execution.
  • Accessibility Testing: Lead accessibility testing efforts for web applications.
  • Test Automation: Design, develop, and execute automated test scripts.
  • Team Collaboration: Provide guidance, coordination, and coaching to development team members supporting QA activities.
  • Metrics and Reporting: Design, implement, and track quality assurance metrics.
  • Staying Current: Stay informed about the latest testing tools and strategies to continuously improve testing practices.
Requirements:
  • Qualifications: Bachelor's or Master's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related discipline.
  • Experience: Minimum of 5 years of experience in quality assurance engineering.
  • Skills: Strong knowledge of software QA methodologies, tools, and processes.
  • Automation Experience: Proven experience in writing clear, concise, and comprehensive test plans and test cases.
  • Testing Tools: Proficient in using automated testing tools.
  • Agile Experience: Experience working in an Agile team environment.
Benefits:
  • Work Environment: Work onsite in Toronto, Canada up to 3 days a week collaborating with the team.
  • Work Schedule: Work hours are Monday – Friday, 37.5 hours a week.
