About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Food Service Supervisor to join our team at Randy's Pizza & Donair - Lower Sackville. As a key member of our operations team, you will be responsible for ensuring the smooth day-to-day running of our restaurant, maintaining high standards of quality and customer service, and leading a team of staff to achieve our business objectives.

Key Responsibilities
  • Leadership and Team Management: Supervise and co-ordinate the activities of staff who prepare and portion food, ensuring that they are working efficiently and effectively to meet customer demands.
  • Operations Management: Establish methods to meet work schedules, estimate ingredient and supplies required for meal preparation, and maintain records of stock, repairs, sales, and wastage.
  • Customer Service: Ensure that food and service meet quality control standards, address customers' complaints or concerns, and maintain a positive and welcoming atmosphere for all customers.
  • Reporting and Administration: Prepare and submit reports, maintain accurate records, and ensure that all administrative tasks are completed in a timely and efficient manner.
  • Team Development: Identify training needs, provide coaching and guidance to staff, and contribute to the development of a positive and productive team culture.
Requirements
  • Education: Secondary (high) school graduation certificate
  • Experience: 1 year to less than 2 years of experience in a similar role
  • Work Setting: Restaurant environment with a fast-paced and dynamic atmosphere
  • Physical Demands: Standing for extended periods, physically demanding, and attention to detail
  • Security and Safety: Basic security clearance
  • Transportation/Travel Information: Public transportation is available
