About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Food Service Supervisor to join our team at Delish Cafe. As a key member of our culinary team, you will be responsible for ensuring the highest standards of food quality, service, and customer satisfaction.

Key Responsibilities
  • Leadership and Supervision
    • Supervise and coordinate the activities of a team of 5-10 staff members, including cooks, kitchen helpers, and other support staff.
    • Train staff in job duties, sanitation, and safety procedures to ensure a safe and healthy work environment.
  • Food Quality and Service
    • Estimate ingredient and supply requirements for meal preparation and ensure that food and service meet quality control standards.
    • Address customer complaints or concerns in a professional and courteous manner.
  • Administrative Tasks
    • Maintain accurate records of stock, repairs, sales, and wastage.
    • Prepare and submit reports as required.
  • Knowledge and Skills
    • Have knowledge of the establishment's culinary genres and be able to maintain high standards of food quality and presentation.
    • Excellent interpersonal and communication skills, with the ability to work effectively with staff, customers, and management.
    • Flexibility and ability to work in a fast-paced environment.
Requirements
  • Education and Experience
    • Secondary (high) school graduation certificate or equivalent experience.
  • Work Environment
    • Noisy work environment.
