Job Summary

Reporting to the president of BNI Canada, the General Manager (GM) plays a crucial role in managing the Quebec region while also serving as an inspiring visionary. The GM is responsible for overseeing daily operations and developing a world-class team of Director Consultants (DCs) within their region.

Key Responsibilities

  • Execute the region's annual success plan, ensuring alignment with BNI Canada's overall strategic objectives.
  • Cultivate a thriving regional culture and define a compelling vision for the future of the Quebec region.
  • Lead and motivate staff to achieve maximum efficiency and improved performance, fostering a collaborative and results-oriented environment.
  • Set and manage growth goals while nurturing a successful, accountable, and positive work environment within the region.
  • Ensure goal achievement through effective people management, performance evaluation, and individual reward and recognition programs.
  • Collaborate with executives on the development, communication, implementation, and execution of effective growth strategies and processes to achieve and exceed sales, profitability, cash flow, and business development goals.
  • Provide comprehensive reports on the region's weekly, monthly, and quarterly performance to the president of BNI Canada.
  • Identify opportunities and develop innovative solutions to enhance efficiency and effectiveness throughout the region.
  • Manage and execute assigned special projects as required.

Develop and Lead a High-Performing Team

  • Implement BNI's business strategies effectively with the DC team, ensuring alignment with company objectives.
  • Recruit, train, develop, coach, motivate, evaluate, and manage the performance of DCs in the region in a timely manner and in accordance with company policies.
  • Collaborate closely with DCs to foster their professional growth and success, providing guidance and support to achieve individual and team goals.
  • Cultivate a positive and supportive team environment that encourages collaboration, innovation, and continuous improvement.
