Assistant Director General

About the Role
The Assistant Director General will work closely with the General Director and department heads to optimize the daily management of all departments. This role will focus on adopting excellence standards for customer satisfaction and team management.
Main Responsibilities
- Assume leadership and management of spa operations in the absence of the General Director.
- Manage unexpected situations, provide support to department heads, and identify opportunities for continuous improvement to provide an exceptional customer experience.
- Ensure that all necessary systems and controls are in place and maintained to produce accurate reports.
- Support corporate and local initiatives (ad-hoc events).
- Contribute to digital transformation projects as needed.
- Contribute to the execution of the strategic plan and achievement of financial objectives.
Talent Management and Communication
- Work with department heads to hire, integrate, train, and support a productive and efficient team.
- Act as a payroll resource, including employee files (hiring, internal movements, absences, terminations, time clocks, SST event management, etc.).
Required Profile
- Bachelor's degree in business administration, hotel management, or related field.
- Minimum 5 years of relevant experience, including 3 years of team management experience (recruitment, training, and mobilization).
- Experience in the tourism industry (an asset).
- Ability and willingness to work varied hours, evenings, weekends, and holidays.
- Strong leadership: inspiring and dynamic.
- Excellent communication, interpersonal, and teamwork skills.
- Key skills, including conflict management, business negotiation, organization, and decision-making.
Specifications
- Salary: annual salary based on experience with collective insurance.
- Permanent full-time or part-time position (approximately 32-40 hours per week).
- Hours: 4-5 days per week, including weekends. Occasional evening availability.
