Key Responsibilities:


• Assist the Assistant Vice President of Client Services.

• Oversee employee performance to ensure service levels are achieved, providing support as necessary.

• Identify and implement strategies to enhance efficiency and productivity.

• Offer constructive feedback, coaching, and mentorship while inspiring the team.

• Conduct individual meetings and performance evaluations.

• Perform file audits and address any issues with staff.

• Ensure compliance with company policies and procedures.

• Manage staff scheduling, including work assignments, training, vacation requests, overtime, and shift rotations.

• Review and interpret title opinions, off-title searches, and related documentation, applying underwriting principles to process requests for residential title insurance.

• Provide clients with information regarding title insurance, coverage, and underwriting guidelines.

• Maintain and nurture client relationships, delivering exceptional customer service, addressing inquiries, and resolving concerns.

• Perform additional duties as assigned.

Qualifications:


• Law Clerk designation from a recognized community college.

• At least five (5) years of experience in residential real estate within a law firm or title insurance environment.

• Minimum three (3) years of experience in a supervisory or managerial capacity.

• Comprehensive knowledge of residential real estate practices, from initiation to completion, including understanding title issues and their resolutions.

• Strong understanding and interpretation of current legal terminology.

• Highly professional with a focus on customer service.

• Excellent coaching and mentoring abilities, capable of training and developing staff.

• Strong relationship-building skills.

• Exceptional written and verbal communication skills.

• Strong analytical and problem-solving capabilities, with the ability to make prompt and confident decisions.

• Attention to detail while managing multiple tasks in a dynamic environment.

• Strong organizational and time management skills.

• Proficient in computer applications, including Microsoft Office, Teraview, and Conveyancing platforms.

• Willingness to work additional hours as needed.

• Proficiency in French is an asset.
