The ideal candidate will have a strong background in pipefitting, with experience in industrial or construction settings. They will be responsible for laying out, assembling, fabricating, maintaining, and repairing piping systems, as well as demonstrating knowledge of functional operation of various piping system components.
Key qualifications include Journeyperson Pipefitter/Steamfitter certification, proven experience as a Journeyperson Pipefitter, and comprehensive knowledge of materials, tools, and installation techniques used in pipefitting. Additionally, the successful candidate will have a strong commitment to safety practices and protocols, excellent problem-solving skills, and the ability to work efficiently in a team environment.

Key responsibilities include:
- Laying out, assembling, fabricating, maintaining, and repairing piping systems.
- Demonstrating knowledge of functional operation of various piping system components.
- Using testing equipment effectively to check for system leaks and troubleshoot fitting errors.
Minimum requirements include Common Safety Orientation (CSO) or CSTS-09, Energy Safety Canada Certified Confined Space Entry & Monitor, Energy Safety Canada Certified Fall Arrest and/or Fall Protection, and Basic Rigging Certification. Preferred requirements include Aerial Work Platform, First Aid, and WHMIS.
