About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Culinary Professional to join our team at Z&M Food Ltd. As a key member of our kitchen operations, you will be responsible for managing the day-to-day activities of our food service department.

Key Responsibilities
  • Menu Planning and Preparation
    • Determine the size of food portions and costs to ensure efficient food preparation and minimize waste.
    • Requisition food and kitchen supplies to maintain a well-stocked inventory.
  • Culinary Operations
    • Prepare and cook complete meals or individual dishes and foods to meet the dietary needs of our customers.
    • Prepare and cook special meals for patients as instructed by our dietitian or chef.
  • Inventory Management
    • Order supplies and equipment to maintain a well-stocked inventory.
    • Maintain accurate records of food, supplies, and equipment to ensure efficient operations.
  • Team Leadership
    • Supervise kitchen staff and helpers to ensure a smooth and efficient kitchen operation.
    • Clean kitchen and work areas to maintain a safe and healthy environment.
  • Strategic Planning
    • Manage kitchen operations to ensure efficient use of resources and minimize waste.
Requirements
  • 1 year to less than 2 years of experience in a similar role.
