Mobile Mechanic - Mining Operations

Eldorado Gold Québec, a leader in the mining industry with a workforce exceeding 500 dedicated professionals, is in search of skilled and motivated individuals to enhance our operations. Our Lamaque mine, situated in the heart of Abitibi-Témiscamingue, is rich in resources and offers an excellent environment for career growth.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Perform maintenance, repairs, modifications, and adjustments on processing equipment including crushers, mills, conveyors, cyclones, pumps, and feeders.
  • Conduct welding, plumbing, and piping tasks within the facility.
  • Execute pre-worksite inspections and verifications.
  • Carry out daily checks, inspections, and maintenance of equipment.
  • Ensure a clean, organized, and safe working environment.
  • Adhere to all standards, regulations, codes, and laws applicable to Eldorado Gold and the province of Québec.
  • Fulfill additional responsibilities as assigned by supervisors.

Qualifications:

  • Completion of a DEP in Industrial Mechanics or a DEC in Industrial Maintenance.
  • A minimum of 3 years of relevant experience in the mining industry.
  • Proficient computer skills.

  • Potential exposure to extreme temperatures.
